Twenty years since the communist regimes' fall in Eastern Europe, the AGERPRES Romanian National News Agency's photo exhibition, titled "The Romanian Revolution – The road to Freedom", is offering a testimony of the violent overthrow of the most repressive totalitarian system in Europe, led by Nicolae Ceausescu. Using the press photograph, as a visual fact of the rough information, lively shot, AGERPRES presents in around 50 images, most of them in black and white, a radiography of the last moments of existence of the Communist regime and of the last dictator of Europe, illustrating the fight led by an entire people for recapturing its dignity and freedom.
